What Works Today
Screen readers. Every interactive control is exposed to VoiceOver with a name describing what it does, and can be activated the way any other control can.
Keyboard and switch control. Controls can be reached in order and activated with Enter or Space, with a visible focus indicator showing where you are.
Contrast. Body text meets the 4.5:1 minimum against our background.
Captions and transcripts are not applicable — GO does not publish pre-recorded audio or video content of its own.
Known Limitations
We would rather tell you than have you discover these.
Dynamic Type. Text does not yet scale when you enlarge system text size in iOS settings. This is our highest accessibility priority.
Image descriptions. Photos posted by other members do not carry descriptive alternative text, because members do not currently supply one. Decorative images are correctly hidden from screen readers. We are looking at how to invite descriptions without making posting harder.
Member-generated content. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of text, photos or videos that other members post.
Tell Us About a Barrier
